Ouch, sorry to hear that. Really sorry. Though it's good to hear it didn't turn out as bad as it could have. Imagine if it had decided to crap out after a few months of use, and you'd played a full game of FFT on it.

Still, hopefully you can get the seller to give you a refund, though after seeing that it was from Hong Kong, the chances might be low.

That would be scary. Maybe I should play games with my reliable 1GB stick... And the seller contacted me, he's willing to give me an exchange. Works for me, I just hope the new stick will actually work!

Yup, until you find a new one that you're sure is reliable. But hey, I survived with game saves alone on a 32MB stick for three years! Probably not a good idea, but eh. Good to hear that the seller contacted you though! I was being a pessimist (unheard of!) and assuming he wouldn't.

Well, I think 32MB is fine for just game saves. And the seller gave me a return number too, so I think I'll get my new stick just fine. (Hopefully it won't be defective!)

Yup, that and a few pictures. That's all. Good thing you found a pretty reliable seller too. Sounds like you're in good hands! I'm not sure of the likelihood of another Memory Stick being defective, though.
