Double my... Work?
It's been quite a while since I last said this (January in fact) but I'm going in to work early to do a double shift. I've got a little less than an hour to leave out of the house since the shift starts at 12:30. Hopefully I'll be able to work until 5, and then start working again on my own shift at 6. Even though it's just once a week, I'm missing the days in 2005 where I could work a few doubles per week. Interestingly enough, I'm not missing the midnight doubles, yes, I miss the extra money they brought in, but the late hours (10:30 to 2am) and the staggering summer heat were really a drain on me. So anyway, here's to earning a bit more money while I'm in bum mode (sort of) and envying other shifts because their supervisors are still sane and mildly competent.
On a more interesting note, I finished Crisis Core yesterday morning. I want to sit down and write about my thoughts on the game, but that will have to wait. In a quick summary, it is a satisfying game for Final Fantasy VII fans and the great story elements balance out the frustrating (but not broken) game play elements. Now I think I'll just finish up Daxter, and The World Ends With You before starting on Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions on the handhelds.
I also want to write about how much I'm enjoying my new cell phone but that will also have to wait until another day. With that, I'm out, UPS money calls.
