The problem with being a part-time student.

Jun 10, 2008 15:54

I finished filling out and mailing off my paper work to ACS Education. Otherwise known as the people who took over when PHEAA decided to pull out of the loan business. I've lost count of how many times I've had to ask for a deferment on my loans because I was still in school. Loans don't have to be paid back while in school (as long as a student is ( Read more... )

Man, after skimming through those first two paragraphs, I was about to start shaking in my sandals! Thank goodness it was kind of a mistake on their part, though I know their desperate for cash with the unstable economy. But good luck with that.

And your neighbors destroyed your flowers? This is like a declaration of war, I think. Make sure you raid their property too. Take the hyenas with you!

They started this while I was there. I gave advice as best I could, based on my previous experience with landscape gardening, but if this is what's going to happen with all the plants, then I might as well advise a more high tech solution than just pruning and gentle care.

What would be the "high tech" solution? O_o

Yeah, I'd like to know what this high tech solution is too. Does it involve building a giant robot guard of some kind? That might be a good idea...

Man, and here I thought my neighbors were bad.

I'm not sure if it's truly a mistake or not. I mean we are in a "credit crunch" and with people defaulting on things left and right, I'm sure those actually paying are the ones who get squeezed. I'm still a bit ruffled about the grace period thing, and as someone commented below, I still might need to talk to loan shar- er, people about it.

I should take the hyenas, they'll destroy everything and then laugh when it's all over. Ha...!

Though sadly, it seems like all of the neighbors around here have it out for us, for no reason. We don't bother them, but they certainly like to bother us.

Yeah, make sure you let them have it, though try not to go into the "well F-you!" stage, though I don't think you're the type of person to do that. OR ARE YOU!?

They'll probably sing songs while they do it, too!

Man, those are the worst kind of neighbors. Ones that almost make you want to go commando. I can't imagine what you're going through with this, but I have to wonder how some people can be so incredibly insensitive.

I dunno... I guess time will tell. XD

Amusing and disturbing hyena songs, I wager!

I think people quite simply don't give a damn about others. It's about as egotistical as you can get. =/

Yikes! The huskey will be unleashed, I guess.

Yep, amusing with a disparaging hidden message embedded within the songs. Those are the best, especially for malignant purposes (malignancy vs. malignancy!).

Pouring hot water on someone else's plants is much worse than anything I've experienced. I think calling them egotistical is a bit too much, though (they aren't deserving of the term); the phrase "inhuman jackasses" is more apt, though.

Or not. I'm feeling pretty lazy nowadays.

Hmm... Hidden messages.

I'd say "inhuman jackasses" is a fitting term. If you even considered saying "hello" to any of them they'd stare at you like you said something offensive. I see why the previous owners of this house wanted to move so badly.
