You know...

Making $14.57 an hour isn't all that impressive if you work less than three hours in a night. That was the case tonight at work. I was only willing to work for such a short amount of time, because I figured that I could use the extra rest. Though I did milk the clock a little by doing safety committee work. Even that didn't last long as I was ordered to either go home or take someone's spot downstairs and start bagging. If I had been feeling well, I would have worked, since I'm not I left with only 2:40 on the clock.

Midterms/exams were somewhat grueling. I didn't finish my broadcast exam, as I got stuck when writing my last top story and my sports story. (Have I mentioned that I'm not a sports person?) I finally chugged through the sports story, then with only three minutes left on the exam, barely got through weather and didn't get to do a goodbye/sign off. Given that I'm not a professional at writing newscasts, I did the best that I could given the time I had. There are just so many what ifs, that make me feel regret, even if the professor is pretty lenient with his grading. I just wish I could churn out a minute and thirty second newscast in a half hour like some of the people in class could.

I suppose I should take the time out to write more, it'd probably help me with magazine articles and deadlines somewhere in the future.

Ah, my sinuses are killing me, time for medicine and bed rest. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd drag the PS2 upstairs and play some Xenosaga 2 in bed.
