I'm heading to work early to do a double shift. This will probably be the longest double shifts I've ever done in all the four years that I've been at UPS. I'm going in for 8 hours on the day shift, then doing another 4 hours on my own shift for a total of near 12 hours. Next week's paycheck should look good, but I'll be quite tired when I get ( Read more... )

My last job had me working 26 hours every weekend, from 6AM to 7PM with only one half-hour break for lunch. It is tiring at first, yes, but you get used to it.

Say you were working those hours at UPS more regularly, or just simply had to as it was your required hours, you would get used to it eventually. It is hard though if you're used to doing say 4-8 hours then go for 12 hours straight.

Do you get a break for dinner at 5/6, or will you get a gap in between your first shift and 2nd? Probably will help.
