I am a senior.
As of one week prior to today.
It's great, school's going fantastic so far and I've made new friends, already gotten closer to old ones, and band isn't absolutely horrid.
We're somewhat halfway into the first movement of Firebird by Igor Stravinsky.
It's a beautiful piece, and I'm really happy it's what we're playing this year.
Stand tunes include:

The Magnificent Seven
The Horse
A compilation of 'Dulles Shorts' (including the Imperial March and Iron Man)
The Can-can(though it'll be the dolls' kick routine song)
Proud Mary(which is the dolls' current feature song)
Hopefully that won't be all, but those of you who are class of '05 and up, would understand why that may not be.
The Rodger's Auditorium parking lot got a makeover.
New blacktop means hotter practices.
And oh joy! They're giving us shorter water breaks...

Anyway.
I miss lots of people right now, those who've gone off to college again, and those who've gone off for the first time.
It's wierd not having older people around anymore, cause now I'm kinda like the 'top dog' in our school.
I don't really feel any different, I guess, but some people have said I've got this new air of confidence about me. (I don't know WHERE they've been for the past 17 years, but confidence has always been a strong point of mine....)
For those of you who know about my consistently terrible love life, I have none at the moment.(as if that'll ever change... right..) Big whoop eh?(hehe, I'm not an Aggie, so no telling me to 'Push' for saying that!)
There is someone though.
I'm hoping, but hoping has never really gotten me anywhere so maybe it's best to drop it.
I dunno.
Anyway, now that I've momentarily taken control of your life, I'll leave you be.
My life's boring enough as it is, why should I make you suffer for it?
