SVU-Dirty

This was again one of those episodes where you spent the whole time wondering how many rules they must be breaking by letting people like Sunny 'assist' with the investigation. What made it worse was that they kept saying that she shouldn't be involved but didn't do anything to really get rid of her. Surely they aren't that powerless that they couldn't tell her to go away and stay out of it?

I liked the opening shot, following Sunny through the offie. A little unusual for L&O but still good.

Sunny must have really been keeping an eye on Page to notice that she had left the office without taking her stuff. Although even with what we learned later, surely someone with Page's experience would have grabbed something befoe leaving the office. I mean how many women carry their car keys in anything but their bag?

When Page came off the roof it looked like she was actually going to land on her feet on the car. Of course her leg would have snapped under her but still. I must have misheard the dialogue because at first it sounded like they said they didn't know who found the body but then they introduced Olivia to Sunny.

Why would Sunny bother taking the plates off the car and Page's ID if she was then going to stick around and tell everyone who Page was? I wonder if she was deliberately lying about Page having an abusive ex, because surely if Page was a serial self harmer there would have been evidence before she got involved with the co-worker. But then again it was Olivia pushing the personal angle (which she was kind of wrong about) and Sunny was pushing the Latin kings

Warner initially though it was self harm because of the scars and lack of defensive wounds. But we later learned that the most recent cuts weren't self inflicted so how do you explain the lack of defensive cuts or restrain marks?

Angel, the Latin King guy, didn't look very Latino. Looked more like a neo Nazi skin head

All things considered Page's boss wasn't very upset about her death. And if she thought the phone cal was work related wouldn't she have mentioned something to him before she left. Considering how unreliable polygraphs are, and that police would know how to trick them, as Olivia said later, I thought they would have had stronger evidence to base their suspicions on then Page showing some deception.

When Olivia was questioning the two detectives I kept wanting her to talk to the one on the right on his own because he obviously wanted to say something but the presence of the other detective was holding him back. Good on her though for arresting Sunny. Really they should have practically arrested her at the crime scene, but professional courtesy. But a detective with Sunny's experience would have to know better then to take evidence to 'help'.

I thought the whole point of disposible prepaid cell phones was that you couldn't track them down. Not to mention a girl like Lakeisha-I don't think she would have been producing her real ID.

I thought that Lakeisha was going to run but what happened was much more exciting. A detective with a gun to the head of another detective with a detective to another detective with a gun to a girl with a knife! At least the Brooklyn detectives are still working on their case

Surprised that Olivia actually seemed to believe what Riggs was saying, she didn't really push him. Lakeisha and Damon though, these people have probably been involved in the criminal justice system since they were 10 years old, surely they would know something about making up a story and sticking to it. Of course it was a pity they didn't pick up on that early and didn't realised it until they saw the toll booth footage. Because really, who expected Lakeisha and and Dmon to still be alive?

I think that if these Latin Kings were going to go after a 10 year old, they aren't going to worry whether or not he's actually going to tell the police. They're going to kill him just in case. So I'm not sure what Fin was hoping to achieve here.

The case started to get a bit boring after a while, there were too many people involved in this.

Where did this pregnant girlfriend come from? They way they spoke it was like she had been there all along. PLus I don't see an upborn baby being really great leverage against a guy like Angel :(

It seems like they didn't make as big a deal about Sunny being a crooked cop as they could have. Although the aftermath when this went public would have to be huge.
