I'm back again, and it feels like there's no time until school starts. But that's alright.
This past week was amazing, and amazingly hard. You guys will never believe the number of pushups and leg-lifts I did. I ran five miles by the end of the week. ALLECA (American Legion Law Enforcement Career Academy) was one of the best things I have ever done, right up there with switching to ASA. The people I met were amazing, and though I didn't really change, I learned what I can do and what my limits are. I wish it had been longer, and I'm definitely going next year. I'm still making up for the sleep, as I usually got about 3-4 hours a night, what with nightwatches and everything. I've stepped through the door and you'll never guess how far I've come.
I really learned the meaning of, "NEVER QUIT, NEVER DIE!"
This week, I'm volunteering at the Photo Lab Tuesday and Wednesday, leaving for Caltech on Thursday, visiting Caltech and coming home on Friday, then Monday I'll probably be at the Photo Lab again and the Free Arts presentation that night, then school starts next Thursday. And I've still got almost the entire Crowley packet to finish. Crazy, eh? But I'd never trade this summer for the world.
[much love, quidditch, and event horizons]
