Update? No, it can't be (but it is)
So, a college e-mailed me this link to a "personalized" page where they asked to me to sign up for their mail list or some other utterly ridiculous thing. Look at what they did to my name in an attempt to predetermine what my "preferred name" would be...
Yup... "Samantha Ho" My name so does not look good when it's shortened.
Yesterday afternoon was amazing. School had was a half-day, but I decided to stay downtown until my finished work. Lunch: Blue Fin, with mon père and Kerry. Really good yakisoba with beef. Then: The Phoenix Art Museum. Went through the photography exihibit again- the photos are beautiful. Also looked at the lingerie exhibit upstairs; the really old corsets and hoop skirts are amusing. I also went through the "You who are being obliterated by dancing fireflies" installation twice where its a small enclosed room with mirrors on the walls and little lights hanging from the ceiling (so amazing! I wish had taken a picture). While I was in the gift shop a guy came over and told me that I looked gorgeous, which obviously made me very happy. After: Went a poked through an antique shop. Finally: Got a coffee and danish at Willow House and read for a couple hours.
Days spent downtown always seem to make me feel older (in a good way).
