Painful in pink
Today has been rubbish. We got a call yesterday from a woman at our estate agents asking to come around to check the water pipes or something at the flat, which is fine, we set a time for 11am this morning. Ellie and I got up early so we could do a clean up of the place and we were done by 10am. 11am came and went, then so did 12. Ellie went off to Uni and do Ellie things and I waited around another hour, in which the bloody internet decided it was going to die. So I had to call exetel and have a complain. They said the line was dead so they were going to have to send someone around to fix it, they'd call back somewhere between the next 24 to 48 hours to organise a time. My panic, she grew. I have an assignment due Thursday morning. I did NOT want to have to go out to Uni tomorrow just to do the damn thing should I require the googling services we so generously enjoy these days. Anyway, water checker woman didn't show up so I went to Chadstone to buy my beloved Hercules new kitty foods, bought foods and new socks. The socks were important. I also bought pinkish lipstick because a part of me wants to be Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds lately. This is unimportant, but so much is these days.
So I came home to get changed, did so ready to go out. I had plans! I was going for dinner! Then to see Asher Trelevan! Comedy Festival preview tickets! FREE Comedy festival preview tickets! I was excite!
Five minutes before I leave there's a rattle at the front door. Guy from Exetel to fix my internet. OH A CONUNDRUM. I had a little time. I was planning on being early. Internet guy plugged something in and then fucked off. I had no idea where he was for the next hour, all the while my plans went down the fucking drain. He didn't leave until like 6pm. >.< Captain Jacq missed out on dinner AND Asher Trelevan. Sadness.
On the upside, I bought a massive canvas for $15 at Chadstone today. It's massive. I love it. Guess what I'm doing tonight?
