Friday Finds - Rosemary and Rue
Hello everyone, for my first Friday Finds I am shocked to say that it is an Amazon recommendation! Usually Amazon fails at giving me recs that I like but the moment I looked at them I saw this wonderful cover and even more wonderful title. There was a video on the book page of the author talking about her book and then I just liked the book even more. So here it is Rosemary and Rue (an October Daye novel) by Seanan McGuire.
The world of Faerie never disappeared: it merely went into hiding, continuing to exist parallel to our own. Secrecy is the key to Faerie's survival-but no secret can be kept forever, and when the fae and mortal worlds collide, changelings are born. Half-human, half-fae, outsiders from birth, these second-class children of Faerie spend their lives fighting for the respect of their immortal relations. I just gotta say I love the names this author uses for her characters. To the TBR list this shall go!
