Oldest Brother, and Great Neck
I got up this morning at somewhat past 10, and had breakfast, coffee and showered and dressed.
Then I went out to the nursing home to see Oldest Brother. He is still congested and coughing. but I think there is improvement which is good. But he had a nasty case or oral thrush which I pointed out to the staff, and they said it will be taken care of. I hope so.
Anyway, I stayed an hour, and then walked to the closest bus stop and took the 13 into Flushing. I went to the train station, and got a round trip ticket to Great Neck ot see mashfanficchick.
Ze and zer father picked me up when I got to the station, since they were right around the corner, and I ran some errands with them.
When we got to the apartment we went through the bags of stuff of zer mother's that came from the rehab. Then zee did some financial stuff, and finally we went to Starbucks to hang out. I had a pistachio latee. It was quite good.
Ze called Dani, to make plans for going to see them in Ohio for Passover, and I am going to though not going to stay for the whole three weeks ze is staying. Probably a week and a half. And Dani said if she has time, one day she'll drive me to see the FWiB! So that's really nice.
At 7:30 we left Starbucks and went to have dinner. We were going to have Greek, but the place closed earlier than their webpage said, so we went to a Thai place instead.
I ordered something I can't begin to remember the name of, much less spell, a curry stew with chicked and rice noodles. A departure from my usual pad Thai, but I felt the need for a change.
At 8:30 I called Middle Brother. He's doing fine, and looking forward ot Martin Luther King Day, and Valentines Day. Yes, he likes holidays.
Juat before 9:00 we finished dinner and paid, and went to the train station. I made the next train to Flushing by 1 minute, good thing I had a round trip ticket and didn't need to buy one!
I got to Flushing just in time to catch a 44 bus, so I got home before 10. I fed the pets, the Skyped the FWiB.
Had a good time talking. Then read in the internet, and started here.

1. The FWiB and maybe seeing him in April.
