(no subject)
Hey everybody, here's what's been going on with the job hunt: with IN-N-OUT they already hired and told me to come back a month later, they said they will be hiring then. I guess the most annoying part(but lame anyways lol) I grew a goatee which too me 6 weeks to grow, but when I arrived at IN-N-OUT they told me I had to shave it off or the top manager wouldn't even think about hiring me. So now I come to a decision, do I regrow it and go back to IN-N-OUT or grow it and repeat the process. :/ Whatever...idk what I should do...you know what, I am going to regrow it. :D Who cares, I'll see what happens later maybe I'll be able to get a job somewhere else. Right now almost nobody is hiring out here in Cali. :(
Good news is I finally got my drivers license at age 18! (I am 19 now :D ) Too many drivers in my fam, which prevented me from starting sooner...lol. I have to wait on driving once again because I don't have a way to pay for it. :p
This semester I joined the choral group at our community college, after tryouts I was placed as bass! The group is amazing!! :D We had our performance last Saturday down in the California Theater San Bernardino. What was really awesome was on Friday the day before the performance I needed to find a tuxedo and renting wasn't really an option because we will perform 3 times this semester. My instructor Doc suggested that I go to the Goodwill(thrift store) out here and look at the suit coats they have. On my way there I was doubting that I would even find a black coat, so I prayed that I could find what I'm looking for. So, when mom and I got there we saw large circular coat racks full of these coats, but then my mom noticed on the wall nearby a couple more coats but one had these really nice pants hanging down behind it. O.o We walked over and it was a brand new looking tux coat and pants! And to make it even better they fit perfectly! Which is amazing due to my length.
We were really happy to have found those for really small fraction of the cost to buy or rent one. :D We decided to head to the Bridal Shop to get a Bo-Tie(sp?) and see what shirts they use with a Tux, we got there and a lady came up we told her we were looking to buy a Bo-tie and a shirt, she measured me and we found a shirt my size and went to see how much this was going to cost us. With a 10% discount is was going to be $31, to rent those two items it would only be $15. But then she said, we might have a used shirt in the back and that would bring it down to $21. Sure enough she did! :D We save a lot from renting because they had a used shirt in the back. :DDDD
Okay, as for the food. I went down to California Theater down in San Bernardino (our performance is this Saturday at 8) in a carpool, the practice ended early so we decided to eat somewhere. THe four of us in our vehicle left to Carls since the others couldn't decide on what to do, after we got there a friend of mine and my self don't have really any money at all. So we were tying to figure out what to split if we could when this guy who was leaving asked me if we had chosen what we wanted to eat. We told him no and he gave me this coupon he was holding and it said two Western Burgers for $3! Two hamburgers only cost us $3.24 thats it! :D Looking back on yesterday I'm soo thankful, God save us a lot of time and money on the clothes. :)
