It's a good day
I've been doing a better balance lately - still working quite a bit, but spending more time with friends and family as well. I've been out to the bar and had friends over, (even went out to see Iron Man!), and got to visit with Jess and crew for Wed night fun! I have a couple weekend workshops coming up for sign language, and a couple nights out with friends as well. I'm even thinking about interpreting for the Gay Pride Fest in Ferndale next month! Forgive me for not posting much recently - I've been in the whirlwind, but I think it's going to get better soon!
I had this morning off and managed to catch up on most of my housework, too - I did all the dishes, dusted, vacuumed, cleaned all the windows and mirrors, bathed and brushed out the dogs (cleaned their teeth while I was at it!), picked up the backyard, mowed the lawn, and swept up what was left over. I ended up getting absolutely filthy, just to get clean all over again! Just a few things left, but I'm feeling very accomplished, and I'm looking forward to going back home and relaxing in a nice, clean house...
Also wik - I love my new haircut. Today, I left the house with wet hair and not a moment to lose, and just left my windows down in my car while I was driving to work, and it looks great! No fuss, no muss.
