Patient's energon levels: 20%, dropping. Immediate energon resupply is encouraged.
Where the enemy is not the mech shooting at you from behind the rock, not the mech emptying his gun in a strafing run from above, not the officers giving the command to attack.
Where the split second decisions in triage mean life for some mechs, a slow death for others.
Alert: Shutting down non-vital systems.
He does battle in a place no mech likes to be in, yet where mechs hope to online their optics to after a particularly nasty shot.
Where leaking energon lines, twisted back struts, shattered optics and cracked spark chambers are the greatest dangers one can face.
Spark integrity: 4%
Ratchet knows that no matter how much intelligence he gathers, or how many battles he has won in the past, his enemy enters each new fight fresh, and ready to put up a struggle.
Sometimes, Ratchet loses. Those times, he just has to take comfort in the fact that he tried his best.
And ignore the niggling little voice at the back of his processor that his best is not enough (It never is).

After all, even though this battle is over, his war against his enemy would never be.
