Wow, I've not updated in ages. Well, I didn't get the job at Cleveland State. Very bummed, but I'm so used to rejection by now that it didn't affect me as much as I thought it would. I sent a resume to John Carrol U. the day I got the rejection from CSU, but I haven't heard back yet. Yesterday I sent my resume to Ursuline College, and got back a personal acknowledgment, which is nice, but I'm not gonna cry if I don't get it. Although the idea of working at a women's college is... intriguing, I'd like to be able to take classes myself. I'm really surprised women's colleges exist any more. I'd think they'd open it up to men just so they could get the enrollment. Whatever.
Work's been... work. Only worked 4 days last week, all of them short. This week is really busy, though. I'm going in at 3 today and probably working until midnight or later, then I have to be back at 7 tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to get a room there tonight, but we'll see. The thing that I hate most about my job is that when I've set up for a big event the night before, I lose sleep over fretting whether I remembered everything. Last night I know everything was copasetic, but I still woke several times worried. Work isn't worth losing sleep over!
