(no subject)
Okay, yeah, I know I said that I liked my Rage Against the Machine layout...I really did. And I know I said that I would keep it up for a while, but it was bothering me. I'm so sick of using the colours black and red or having the majority of my journal layout being black. I just need something different...something unique, with different colours. Now, I'm not saying that the journals out there that consist of mainly black don't appeal to me, because that isn't true. It's fine for other people and I've seen some people do awesome layouts with a lot of black or whatever. But right now, I just want other colours. I want to experiment and what not.
I am definitely diggin' this layout. First of all, because it's Fever oriented, which is always good. Plus, it's just a nice change. There are some different colours and I love the graphic. Oh, and my icon...my god, I love my icon. lol I took The Fever's logo and pasted it into the 100x100 box, then I cut out the lips from the graphic and added it on, put on a black border and I was finished. In all honesty, this journal layout took me about 15-20 minutes, tops. But damn, I'm in love. :-) Heh.
By the way, I'm sorry that I haven't posted the story about me meeting Tom Morello yet. After the comments made by ryanthewen in my last journal entry, he inspired me to finally write what happened to me that day at Lollapalooza. I started the entry and I have it saved on Microsoft Word, but it's at home. I don't have it here, so I guess everyone is going to have to wait to read the story until I get home and finish it. My last day of school is on Thursday and then I have four months off. I have so much planned for this summer. I think it's going to be pretty cool.
I have to work four hours today (8:00 A.M. to noon) and then four hours tomorrow (8:00 A.M. to noon again). That kind of sucks, but at least I'm getting paid. There are so many things that I want/need to buy; I need to pay my cell phone bill, I need a wireless router for my computer, etc. Hopefully Lisa and I get a summer job at that coffee place by our homes. That would be really nice.
Maybe I'll write another entry while I'm at work. The boredom that devours my soul while I'm at work will most likely push me to do so.
*And, by the way, my new layout will fit all screen sizes. :-D
