(no subject)

This happened a week or so ago and I forgot to write about it, so I guess I'll write about it now.

I got accepted to Point Park. :-) Again. Haha. Only this time, I'll actually be able to attend the school. For those of you who don't know. I was supposed to go to Point Park University for my first year at college. I got accepted to the school and a $2,000 scholarship. Sadly, things didn't work out, so I ended up coming to Cal U - one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Honestly though, looking back at things, if I had to do it all over again, I think that I would've done it the exact same way. My experiences here at Cal U weren't the best, but they have made me a stronger person and even through all of the things that have happened, I've made some really good friends as well as some valuable memories that I will keep in my heart forever.

Ok, that's enough of all that mushy stuff. Next subject. :-P

I was so fucking pissed off tonight. I went on the AT&T Wirless web site to check my bill online and when I saw it, my jaw litterally dropped. I've only had the phone since the 13th of February and when I checked my bill tonight, I saw that it was a bill for $80.00! The end of every billing period is the 28th, so that means that I had only been using the phone for 15 days. Because I had only been using the phone for 15 days and not a full month, my bill was supposed to be cut in half. I was only supposed to pay for the time that I used it and yet, the computer was showing me that I owed AT&T Wireless $80.00. As soon as I saw that, I got on the phone and called those motherfuckers at Customer Service. After being on hold for 25 minutes, I finally got to speak with a customer service person. I said to them, "Hi. I just checked my bill online for this month and it says that I owe you people $80.00 fucking dollars! How is that possible? I've only had the phone for 15 fucking days! When I called a week or two ago, a lady told me that my bill would be cut in half, because the billing period would end on the 28th, which meant that my bill should not be $80.00 goddamn dollars. I never went over my minutes and I never went over my text message limit. What the fuck is going on here?!" She replied, "I'll bring up your invoice and look to see what the problem is, ok?" I said, "Ok." She went and brought a man on the phone to talk with us, because she couldn't bring up my invoice, but he could.

Ahhhh!!!!!!!! The Stills video for "Still In Love Song" is on television right now!!! :-D It's really good. Haha, sorry. I didn't mean to get off track there. I just had to mention that.

So yeah, the woman, the man and I sat there and went over my bill. I downloaded two ring tones onto my phone and they cost $1.99 each. The ring tones never worked for me though and I told them that, so they said, "Well, since they didn't work for you, we'll reverse the charges and take them off your bill." Then, they said, "From looking at your bill, it seems as though you used the Internet on your phone." I said, "Yeah, I did. I only used it for five to ten minutes though. Nothing more than that." The man said, "Yeah, that's fine, but we don't charge by the minute, we charge by the kilobyte." I said, "Oh dear..." He said, "Yeah. Because we charge by the kilobyte, the total amount that you were charged was $34.75." I said, "Oh my god...are you fucking serious?" He said, "Totally." Haha. I said, "I honestly had no idea that you guys charged by the kilobyte. I really did not know that." He said, "Yeah, every time you visited a web site on your phone, there are a certain number of kilobytes that make up each page." I said, "Well, I'm sorry, but I didn't know that you guys were charging me that way." The woman said, "Well, I'll talk to another department and see if we can get them to reverse the charges." I said, "Ok." The woman put me on hold for another ten minutes and when she came back, she said, "Ma'am, this is what we can do...the department that I spoke with said that they will reverse the charges. With AT&T Wireless, there is a plan that you can order where you can get a certain amount Internet access with your phone for only $9.99 a month, so the department is going to treat this incident as if you had that plan, which means that they're only going to charge you $9.99 for the Internet time that you did use, instead of the $34.75." I said, "That's fine. I can deal with that." The woman put me on hold again, switched back over to the other department and told them that I agreed with the charges, which brought me back down to the total that it should be. Before I got off the phone with the woman though, I said, "Listen, I'm sorry that I flipped out on you and yelled at you, but I was worried that I was going to have to pay an $80.00 bill for a phone that I've only used for 15 days." She replied, "It's all right ma'am. I would've been upset too. I'm just glad that we could help you straighten everything out." And that was it.

I was so relieved after the problem got solved. I felt bad for yelling at her though. lol I was just so pissed off, frustrated and worried. I did not want to pay $80.00, because I knew I was being charged way too much and plus, I don't have $80.00 right now. I'll have $80.00 on Friday, but I can't spend that. I need it for my concert on the 12th, which I'm very excited about, by the way. :-)

I have to end this. I have to go meet Dawn for breakfast at seven, which means I should've started getting ready 15 minutes ago. After breakfast with Dawn, I have to go to work from eight to ten. At ten, I have to go to the health center and meet with a lady who works there. We'll probably be done with our meeting at 11:00, at which point I'll go get lunch and just chill in my room until 3:20. At 3:20, I have to go downstairs and meet Dawn for Psychology class. After Psych class ends at 4:45, I'm going to come back to my room and freshen up a bit, because I'm going to dinner with Jeff, which should be entertaining. I think we're going to dinner at 5:30, which is way too early to eat dinner (at least, for me it is), but that is when he eats dinner, so I told him that we could go then.

Ok, I'm ending this for real now.

Oh, fuck, wait. One more thing! I went to visit http://www.raisethefist.com today and this is what I saw...
