At least my chest only hurt for two days

Man. I've been meaning to update since Wednesday and I haven't been able to until now. Life just be crazy, ye chickens.

On Wednesday I got pulled over for speeding. Again. In the same place I was caught last time. This time I tried to talk my way out of it, but it didn't work. I wonder if wearing a low-cut shirt really does help. Of course I don't plan on getting caught again, but I still wonder.

Anyway I visited the old accounting firm because they said they had some paperwork for me. Instead they just wanted to talk. And they ate in front of me and didn't offer me any. So I was late for school because of it. I didn't get to eat lunch until the fifteen-minute break during my History Synthesis class.

Wednesday sucked. Thursday was notably better, although I forget why. I got a B- on my first folklore paper, which is an improvement over the C I got on my first quiz the first time I took the class. Friday started awful -- entirely because I was supposed to get up at 3:30 but I got up at 4:30 instead, and then I had to open, which is always terrible. But towards the end of my shift, I helped out this one guy who turned out to work at a local private school, so I asked if they were hiring, he said maybe, and so I emailed him my resume over the weekend. *fingers crossed*

Then I went dancing with the swing club until midnight. We stayed until after midnight but I collapsed around 11:30. I love Mobtown! I danced with all the boys.

Saturday and Sunday were otherwise unnotable, but because of the crazy schedule I felt like I didn't get a chance to focus on homework. My Uncle Steve and Aunt Cindy moved in on Friday night and so when I wasn't at work we were doing things to make them feel more welcome -- I imagine there will be a lot more Farkle in my future.

Also I was coming down with a cold, so I spent all day Monday either feeling awful because my chest hurt or throwing a fit because I misunderstood my philosophy assignment. I probably wouldn't have pitched a fit so much if I wasn't feeling sick. Maybe.

Philosophy class became a lot less miserable when I decided to start updating tumblr and livejournal during class instead of paying attention. That...that is probably not the lesson I should be getting out of this.

homework, music, big orange box, car, admin!, health, family, classes
