Since yesterday was to be my last day among the diurnal, I wanted to go out and do fun things with James. He'd always wanted to go to the
Udvar-Hazy Center, so we did that. I'll post pictures when I'm on a computer that will let me upload. We also made a trip to Petsmart. Sadly those cats with pink eyes are still in the adoptable areas; the good news, though, is that I got a new betta!
His name is Mazarin, after James' betta Richelieu (who died, sadly). I hadn't been intending to get a new betta, but this one caught my eye with his personality. He was all alone, and oddly being kept in a 10-gallon tank. He swam right up to me to say hello. I ran my pinky in front of him, and he chased it. Fortunately I still had room for him! I had been intending to just get five more neon tetras in a few weeks but, well, I couldn't resist Mazarin.
After I introduced Maz to the tank, we went to Red Robin, where I got a balloon:
I went to bed at 7:30 AM and woke up at 3:30 PM. I actually slept decently.
That is all.
