Meanwhile, in the future, Mom and Dad are visiting Disneyworld.
Mom: So I was thinking that we could get Lacey this ironic t-shirt. See, it has foreign lettering on it.
Dad: And I thought we could get Katie this Goofy hat!
Mom: ...
Dad: Or this Piglet mug!
Mom: Excellent! Now all we have to do is pick out something for Kelsey!
Dad: That's always the hardest. She never wants anything.
Mom: Excuse me, do you happen to have a book on colonialism in America?
Souvenir Stand Guy: Well, we do have Disney's Complete Guide to Dutch Colonialism in the New York Bay.
Mom: We'll take it!
Dad: I would think Disneyworld would have a book on Spanish Colonialism, not Dutch.
Days later...
Kelsey: I love it!
Seriously, Mom went to the beach and brought me back a book on Dutch Colonialism. It's not that I didn't appreciate it, I just thought...Dutch Colonialism? The beach?
This was going to be a comic, but after I drew Lacey's future t-shirt I stopped, because I liked it too much and I would have had to erase it because it was too big. It said, IRONIC FOREIGN DISNEY. I was inspired by Lacey's desire to have
this shirt.
(for the record, when getting a souvenir from Disneyworld for me, something Grumpy-related, preferably a mug or a doll or something, would suffice)
...that is all.
