Way to break the Bechdel Rule!
I wouldn't say it's the best thing in the world, far from it, but I'm still happy with it. Especially since this was a quick practice comic in between work projects, it turned out really well. I really like the expressions on everyone's faces, for one.
It isn't meant to be a funny comic, just a quick character-establishing comic, especially for Ashley L. If I had more room, her rant would have gone a lot longer and would have actually deserved Jessica's final comment there. She would have gone into greater detail about her rivalry with Chris N, and how hard she worked to defeat him while he did everything so perfectly. In the final comic she'll actually come across as a little bit crazy and hypocritical. Yay for rough drafts!
