My folks had to have Timon, my ferret, put to sleep tonight. I've had her since my 2nd year in college and she's been a really fun little friend. She was 8 years old which is pretty darn good for a ferret, I guess. She'd been through a lot - liked to chase the cats around - nibble on your toes, or fall asleep on your feet. I'll some pitures of her on my website I think .. it was always cute when she would burrow under the covers of the bed - or tirade around the backyard behind you. She had lost her eyesight recently, and went into seizures this evening... it was the right thing to do. :(
