fall is in the air

As football season fast approaches, the leaves begin to turn colors, kids dread returning to school and I drag out the Ducks and Seahawks gear for another 4 month celebration of sports. In pre-season, who cares action, the Seahawks beat Green Bay 21-3 at Lambeau Field. Evidence would indicate that maybe the holes in the O and D lines have been plugged and perhaps the system has been in place just long enough for the players to really gel toegther. Time will tell.

Sadly, I had to say goodbye to a very long time and dear friend. Nimbus, who I rescued as a 6 week old kitten from the animal shelter in 7th grade (May of 1989), died last Saturday, May 7th. At the age of 15 he was well beyond the typical life span of most indoor/outdoor cats. He had recently developed a tumor that was ravaging his head and we did the only humane thing left, which was to let him go. I buried him under a lilac bush, topped with a red rose. It was a sunny afternoon.

Peter got his iBook G4 and seems pretty excitd about it. For being a non-computer nerdy person I think that's a pretty good sign. It will couple well with his iPodMini. Now he will head off to college as a fully equipped iHomo™.

Has anyone seen this petition? Good lord, it's so funny. What a huge pie in the face to Glaser and Co.
