Yeah yeah, I know. It's after 1am and I should be sleeping. But my sleep cycle seems to be all fucked up. I spent too many nights distracted by things online and stayed up till now or later (on nights I was closing shift next day so I could sleep in). And now I'm not TIRED until late even if I had to get up early for work, like today. Luckily I don't have to work tomorrow (or should that be today?) and can sleep in. At least if the girls let me. *laughs*
Dad wants to go see Sherlock Holmes at the cheapie theater tomorrow. Thought it was already over and we'd have to Netflix it if we still had Netflix at that point, but apparently he thinks he's found somewhere we can see it for $4 each? *has no idea*
Got my tax refund yesterday and it's almost all gone already. Not my fault! I gave 3/4 of it to Dad as a 'loan' so he could get more stuff to try and start his statue/sculpting/whatever it is business so there's a better income coming in the house again.
Had a really rather ... odd... dream about Stephen, a broken 100-gallon fish tank (yes it DID have water and et all before it was broken), and a 5 story house where you could see Jupiter as big as the moon in the sky and circling the planet like the moon the other night. Even for me, I thought it was odd. *lmao* I suppose that ties in with the whole 'staying up too late at night' that started this whole post.
The girls are equally as odd. But anyone who reads this journal would know that by now. So when I'm IN my bed, they sleep with me. When I'm not? There's the bed (mine), 2 cat beds, a cat tree, and currently a blanket piled up on the floor to be washed in the morning. All nice comfy places for a cat to sleep in my bedroom. So, where are the girls? One is sleeping on a hard plastic cat toy that has a ball that runs in a groove around the outside. The other is sleeping on my shoes. Mind you, during the day and when they aren't locked in here with me, I catch them sleeping in all the aforementioned soft/snuggly places. But at night for some reason they won't use anything but random hard places unless I'm in bed, and then it's "let's go sleep with/on mommy!" Kaylynn used to try to sleep in the window but I broke her of that as one of the fish tanks is now under said window and she had a habit of falling once she was actually asleep... *snickers* Can you picture that with the tank? Long-haired calico, snoozing in the window, then very slowly slides sideways and a fast plop/crash as she breaks through the aquarium hood and splash! into the tank she goes!
Yes, that would annoy the crap out of me once I knew she was fine, and had rescued what fish from the now broken tank I could, but it would be hilarious to remember the look on her face later!
