Okay, so I called BAM today like I said I would, but I got lucky and Erin was not there, but the guy that answered the phone said that she would be working tonight. I went to BAM thinking that I would find Erin and ask her about Chad…. But I found Chad instead!!! As soon as I saw him my mouth went dry, my stomach was full of butterflies, and I got all shaky. Obviously I didn’t have the never to just walk up to him and start talking, so I called my friend Edward. Edward helped calm me down and gave me the push to go over there and talk to Chad.
When I walked over to him, he remembers who I am!!! I’m kind of going to make a long story short here because you don’t really need a play by play… just the basics! I stayed am talked to him for an hour, at one point I even told him if he needed me to leave to just tell me too… and he said that I could stay!
While I was there Chad had the job of counting books so that they could be sent back for store credit (they were books sitting on the shelf for a long time). He thanked me more than once for staying and talking to him because no one has talked to him all day and he was finally having fun now! That’s right… he called me fun!!! At one point in time, he ever indirectly told me I was hot and he flat out told me that he liked my sense of humor! I really enjoyed talking to him and I think he liked talking to me too!
He hasn’t called (at least this is why I would say he hasn’t called) because he was busy. Chad has two jobs! He works at BAM, but he also works for a publishing company. How cool is that? Well, he sometimes doesn’t get off work until 2 in the morning. I also found out that lesbians kind of freak him out, and he finds it more difficult to respect a person if they are gay. He likes Chinese food!
So, I left because it was time for him to go to lunch and he was starving. Well, we were both standing at the customer service desk and I got really nervous. Anyway, I turned... looked at him and asked him if he would be interested in going out with me sometime. He said that I would probably have to wait for him to call me because he is always busy, but one night when he was sitting at home, he wouldn’t mind if I came over. He said that it was really bold of me and he even said it was sweet! Anyway, right before I left… he gave me a hug. I’M SO EXCITED!!!
EDIT! I forgot something very major!!! It was a good thing that I didn't get in touch with Erin because apparently she was trying to hook up at Chad at one point. She was mad at him for talking to me. I'm somewhat surprised, but Chad actually talked to me about her and her liking him. He kind of opened up to me a bit.
