doormat position vacant

Ray may never know how close he came to not getting my letters for a while. I had decided last night that if I got nothing again today (which would make 3 weeks) then I was going to take some action. I had planned to still write, because I do not feel right when I dont, but to not actually send the letters for 2 weeks. After the 7-week drought of last year, I was not going to let it go unchallenged again.

This morning I got a letter, written the day after our visit, March 2nd, and postmarked the 6th. It has taken 8 days to get here from that point, despite having $1.26 in postage when it only actually needs 94c. Just to prove how bad mail from texas is, I also got a letter from my pal in Pennsylvania today, dated March 10, and postmarked March 11. That's just 3 days to cross the pond, compared to Ray's 8.

I am taking it that the Gods feel now is not the right time for Ray to not get my letters (given the family screwiness at the moment). It will be retained as an option.

In the meantime, I have written 7 articles on Helium since I returned from Texas, 4 of which I submitted today. We now have a total of 59 and I am really trying to get our first payment of $25 dollars this month. Even if you dont want to read them, a click would be appreciated
