Stillness
My two roommates moved out yesterday. They took the cat with them. They also took all the furniture. I'm now living alone in a three bedroom apartment with one bed, one lamp, and one chair. It's only 10 days until I leave Halifax, but it promises to be an eerily quiet ten days.
I also finished my last practicum placement recently. After having spent the last three months counting down the days and banging my head off the walls, I'm oddly sad to be finished. I miss the students. I certainly didn't expect to miss them, but sometimes these things sneak up on you.
It's less than two months until I get married. Things seem to be shaping up nicely. As long as I remember to buy some rings, everything should go well (knock on wood).
Life lesson for the day: couches are important.
