Merry Fucking Christmas
MOTHER FUCKER I'M PIST PISSED!
I spend $130 on a digital camera for myself for Christmas. I bought it 11/26/05. It came with a $30 rebate so woo, I sent in everything for the rebate. This included the origonal UPC code, a copy of the origonal receipt, and the rebate thinger they gave me when I bought the camera. NOW, it's Christmas. 12/25/05. Exactly 29 days after I bought the camera.
For the camera, I got a memory card from my mom for Christmas. She bought it 12/17/05. It came with a $10 rebate so woo, I sent in everything for the rebate. *Repeat previous thinger.* Now it's Christmas and my camera decides it hates me.
With the addition of the memory card, the camera can hold up to 350 pictures and something like 11 minutes of video. SO, here's where my story begins.
I went to Christmas dinner with my dads family. I took many pictures and videos. While looking at teh camera, it turned all fuzzy and red, then went back to normal. I didn't think anything of it. Sometimes, when I turn the camera off, it doesn't shut off so I remove the battery and put it back in to shut it off. Sometimes, when I turn it on, it doesn't turn on. Today, at another Christmas dinner, I took many more pictures and videos. Today towards the end of the day, it wouldn't show me the pictures I had taken. It would jsut show the no image to display but at the same time show that there were pictures. I got home to today and tried to download the pictures from the camera since it was acting strange. I was going to send it back to shop for repair or exchange.
My camera has mysteriously eaten deleted ALL of my CHRISTMAS PICTURES! I'm very upset. The camera says that I have 199 pictures available to be taken, but when I go to look for the 150 that are apparently hidden in the camera somewhere (since if the pictures are deleted, the card should show that there are 350 pictures left to be taken) there aren't any. So, I went to look at the warrenty because I'm feeling like throwing the camera throught the picture window about now and notice that there is a 30 day exchange return warrenty and a 90 days manufacturers malfunction warrenty. FOR the 30 day warrenty, which expires TOMORROW, all I have to do is take it in with my receipt(I think) and exchange it. I'm doing that tomorrow. IF they refuse to give me a new one, I'm going to hurt someone. I can't find my origonal fucking package, thank GOD I made a copy of the receipt for the rebate because now I have a receipt to return the camera to Radio Shack with, and I'm screwed about the origonal UPC becuase they needed the origonal UPC for the rebate. To send it in for the 90 day warrenty, I'll need the package, UPC, and receipt. If they don't give me a new camera FUCK YOU RADIO SHACK! I'll jsut write them somehow and tell them that they have my UPC code and that their camera is malfunctioning.
