setup: the kitchen has a picture window with lacey curtains. They aren't closed completely maybe a 2 inch sliver of the window is showing.
Dad: "The curtains aren't closed!"
Me: so...
Dad: "Well close em!"
Me: Why?!
Dad: "A deer might run through those windows! They do that that ya know."
Me: I think it's fine.
Dad: shakes his head knowingly as he walks away
