I had a lot of fun at this con for some reason, I'm not sure why. ^^;;; Well, for the past two years the con programs have sucked, but this year....I don't know, I enjoyed it more. Maybe it was seeing EVERYONE cosplay too. ^^
Friday: I didn't actually sleep until 2 in the morning because I was trying to finish up my costume. XD My mom woke me up at 9 too, bah. but she bought me yummy breakfast. I'm so greatful to her for it too beause she stayed home until 11 instead of going to work to help me fix up bits of my costume. ^________^ Then I got in touch with Spanky who told me he couldn't drive because he didn't pass his license renewal test, which was no good because I had to come up with a ride really soon. Luckily it worked out and Sharon is now my heroine! ^___^ When we got there the line was actually not that bad, so that was happy. I grabbed Spanky, who came only a bit after we got there, and ran to the dealer's room, in which I promptly spent all my money. ^^;;;; I bought the Taiwanese version of Moon Child because it was there and it was cheaper than the Japanese one. Granted the Japanese is obviously more elite by default and is hardcover, but eh, I didn't care enough. I also accquired the last two volumes of Chobits (!!!!) and the new CLAMP series, XXXHolic, which looks really interesting. I saw the Sasugabooks people again! and they recognized us again! ^______^ It feels wonderful to see them every year...I don't know, it adds this certain "coming home" feeling to the whole con. Spanky and I had to carry all his luggage with us, which was sort of a pain because we couldn't really move in such a crowded place. XD I would go to look for stuff first and he would carry the huge-ass sleeping bag, then we switch off so he could go look too. Let's see....time sort of flew by in the dealer's room, so then it was Burger King, Mystery Anime Theater!!, and Ragnarok (which was so cute that it almost made me barf XDDDD) I liked this year's Mystery Anime Theater better than last year's. It was awesome. ^_^ Although....I did think last year's movie trailers were better. We didn't stay for the MV contest because last year's was so horrible. -_____-;;;
Saturday: Cosplay day! *killkillkill* My wig was such a mess. Kudos to Gloria, Car, and Mike for helping me with the wig, or else I would've never gotten out of the hotel room. ;______; *hughug* Thanks guys. The sad part is that the wig was so hot and stuffy and ANNOYING that I only wore it for an hour or so. I didn't think it would be that bad since so many people cosplayed as Chii and were pretty much all wearing wigs, but I don't know, it was just extremely uncomfortable, partly because the wig was so long, I think.... I didn't end up taking any pictures of myself, and now my mom is after me for pictures. O.o Oh yeah, çouldn't find any pics online either, hrm..... so send me pics of meself if you have any, ne? *poke* I'm still not sure how I feel about my costume. There were so many people cosplaying as Chii so.... I don't know. I can't determine if I did a good job at all. O___O It's kind of sad I'm so insecure about it. Saw the Machall people, bwahahah, we were the crowd on Saturday. *poses* Actually taht was pretty terrible since other people wanted to get through too, but oh well. I MISSED THE TMR CONCERT!! I MISSED IT!!! ...it was my fault though, I should've said that I wanted to go. ;____; That's okie, maybe someone else (Gackt!! Gackt!!) might come next year or something. XD Did get to see Mina~~ ^_________^ Whee, that was really happy, except I had to go back to the hotel and change so I sort of missed dinner with the group. >< oh yeah, the shoes I wore definitely killed my feet. The straps and the back of the shoes scratched these two spots on both of my feet raw, so I was pretty much limping after lunch. Luckily there were staff members in the dealér's room with Neosporin and bandaids. After dinner, watched Onmyoji with the group. The movie was entertaining and I liked it! The best part was probably when Sukihime said to that guy :" you are the only man I didn't want (as everyone gasped in the theater and THEN, five seconds later)...to see me this way." *falls over laughing* Hahaa.....it was awesome. Overall though, was a good movie and muchly amusing.
Sunday: the lowlight was the cd player hunt, I must say. >< I spent two hours searching for it in the Mariott, dragging the poor boy with me, not to mention we were both starving. BAh, it turned out it was hiding in my brother's Gundam bag, that's why I hadn't seen it. *cries* I missed lunch at Hooter's!! Was muchly disappointed. ;______; the Highlight is Megatokyo autograph on the Broken Miho poster~! ^___________________^ Mmmm, prettiness.
Overall a good con. I wish I spent more time with people, seeing how this was my opportunity to see everyone before everyone heads off to college, but I never managed to find the group or stay with the group for more than half an hour. +___+ This large group thing doesn't seem to work to well. Oh well, there's always next year! Btw, People still thinking about doing a Megatokyo cosplay? I would gladly be Miho if everyone is okay with it. In fact, I've already started looking at some of her clothes. XD Miho would be a blessing after the Chii cosplay. ^^;;;
Anyway, I"ve wasted enough time at work, jaa~
