[The video opens up focusing on Morty. He’s not anywhere special, just a backroom in his gym, but there are ghost pokemon wandering about in the background]Goodness, I wish someone had told me there was a ‘First Pokemon’ week sooner. It’s a cute idea.
So ... I have a story, though I don’t know how interesting it is. [After he says that, Morty’s cheeks are pulled by his Gengars who appear on the screen seconds later. They are very offended! It’s a very interesting story because THEY are involved!] Ah ha ha well, maybe they find it interesting.
[The Gengars let go and he lays a hand on each of their heads.] As you would guess, these two mischief makers were my first Pokemon.
My father was the previous Gym Leader of Ecruteak’s Gym, but when I was a child I didn’t have much of an interest in training Pokemon. I was more interested in sneaking off into the Bell Tower to bother the monks for information. But one day they had closed it off from the public so I went to the original tower instead.
[He makes a wide motion with his hands, and the Gengars have become bored (despite previous offense) so they start pulling at his scarf and headband and start putting it on themselves] I had been blinded by a brilliant vision of Ho-oh when suddenly there were Ghost Pokemon everywhere! They surrounded me because I had invaded their territory. So I left. But this guy [Morty pulls the Gengar wearing his scarf close to him. It looks displeased for about half a second before it starts playing again (look, the scarf is a mustache now!)] followed me home.
[He then pulls the other one closer] Soon after, I ended up catching this one alongside a friend. [He pets them, smiling fondly] They’re really related, you know? Brothers in a distant life ... so they were calling out to each other. I couldn’t separate them for my life.
[A chuckle] Not that I’d want to.
[The camera gets a face full of Gengar before it’s turned off. He wasn't done yet but fjjkgkjkfj OH WELL??]
