[ To say that he's happy to see her = UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY. He has a HUGE grin on his face and he's all but flailing in excitement. ] My god, May, is that really you?! I just-- like a flower blooming most radiantly in the spring breeze, just look at how magnificently you have blossomed! It fills my heart with joy seeing you again~!
In fact, wait a moment, if you will!
[ The PNG's screen temporarily goes dark, like it was being shoved into a pocket, and one can hear the muffled sound of someone running. This happens for about two minutes, then a tiny "ping!" can be heard, and the sound of opening doors soon after. As well as footsteps, splashing can be heard. ]
Everyone, everyone! It's May! She's on the PNG right now!
[ Light is soon restored to the PNG's screen, to reveal a giant pool-like area; the screen is going about in all sorts of directions, but one can see Wallace's feet on the steps of the pool. In the distance, Wallace's team is swimming closer, clearly intrigued. Once they get close enough, the screen abruptly zooms in on them, like it's being shoved in their faces. They take a moment to stare, and then, when they realize who's on the screen, they begin to clamor happily. The focus quickly comes back to Wallace. ]
As you can see, they are doing excellently! It was just a couple months ago I went down to Sinnoh to participate in their Super Contests. Unfortunately, at the time I could only manage one, so it was the Beauty contest and we managed to win the Master rank! Very hard work, but it was well worth the effort we put in! I'm in the process of training the others now, since it's been sort of slow around here-- we haven't had many challengers as of late and the ones we do get, either Sidney and Phoebe finishes them off. Makes my job certainly easier. [ He laughs. ]
Enough about me, though! How have you been, May? It's been so long since I've seen you last, so surely you must have gone on plenty of exciting adventures since then! Tell me about them!

Congratulations on winning the contest! That must have been such a wonderful experience for all of you. Master rank! Oh, I wish I'd been able to watch! And I do have to say, Wallace, that your Pokémon look amazing. I wouldn't expect any less from you, of course, but goodness, they seem healthier and stronger every time I see them. [She gives a small laugh and a sly look.] And then there's their trainer! Have you been getting younger, you lovely man?
Honestly, I haven't been up to much! There've been a fair number of interesting events going on in Kanto, so I've been staying in Viridian City for the past couple of months. Their annual festival--celebrating the spirits of Viridian Forest, if you've heard about it--was a few weeks ago and I ended up volunteering to co-host one of the pavilions. It was a lot of fun! [There's a short pause as she tries to think of what other interesting things have been happening.]
Oh! And I had the honor of being in charge of the Viridian City Gym while Green had taken ill, a short while ago! It was certainly a learning experience, but I'm definitely positive now that a professional career in the Pokémon league really isn't for me. [She laughs again.] You all have such admirable patience and dedication to your work! It's a shame there haven't been many challengers coming to see you, though it's actually been pretty quiet in Kanto as well, last I heard. It's been a quiet year for trainers all around, perhaps.

[ His expression somehow manages to brighten even more at the mention of May's temporary role as a Gym Leader. ] And you were a Gym Leader?! Wow, that's so awesome! [ He laughs. ] Yes, it does take a massive amount of energy for our line of work, but I would be lying if I said it wasn't worth it!
And the festival sounds magnificent, as well! Maybe next year, I'll have to drop by and visit!
[ He takes a moment to beam at May. ] It sounds like you're keeping yourself busy with lots of work, and having fun, and that just makes me unbelievably happy to hear that! Your life has so much promise to it, May; truly, I hope you succeed in everything you aspire to do!
[ With a wink, and a grin. ] But do visit me, every now and then, won't you? I'll treat you to a most splendid time in Ever Grande~

Of course! I know I can always count on a fantastic time in your company. I imagine I'll be back in Hoenn by the end of the year, so we should definitely arrange something then!
[Her bright grin settles into a softer smile.]
Thank you so much for your support, Wallace, honestly. I know I couldn't have made it near as far as I have without all of the wonderful things meeting you has taught me. You can rest assured I'll do my best to make sure your kind words are truly deserved!

[ He returns a smile, and claps his hands together, looking earnestly in to the screen. ] It should be me who's thanking you, May! Truly, without you, not just me, but the entire region of Hoenn would not be how they are now! You are a truly gifted and noble young lady, and know that I mean every word of it-- you need not promise me anything, just as long as you are well and you are happy!
