No, you're correct: Steven was the champion before I was-- he's a good friend of mine, although I haven't heard a peep from him lately!

If you don't mind me asking, how do you happen to know him?

Ahh... well, you see, I think he went to Sinnoh once upon a time on a quest to find some rare stones.

[Dawn thinks for a moment, remembering all the details.]

And he came up to me in the Resort Area saying that he had a villa that he didn't want anymore, so he gave it to me.

Then he walked off without a word and I've been trying to find him to say thank you properly!

That's so much like Steven, too... he's a bit on the strange side, but he's one of the most kindhearted people I have ever had the fortune to meet.

To be honest, I think the best way to repay him is to just keep the villa in nice condition-- you certainly wouldn't want to let the villa fall into a decadent state! Like I said before, I haven't heard from him, but if he and I cross paths again, if you'd like, I will be sure to relay your words to him, Miss--

My name is Dawn, I'm the current Sinnoh Champion. I think you and May have the same arrangement that Cynthia and I have.

As for the villa, I think I've kept it in good enough condition though I haven't properly decorated it yet. If you'd like to come visit it sometime, you're more than welcome to.

[ A look of surprise crosses his face when she mentions "champion". ] You're a champion as well? Very interesting! I commend you for getting the title; it's certainly a long journey to becoming one, and Cynthia is no pushover, that's for sure.

Steven would be happy to know that the villa has been given to such trustworthy hands; maybe I will have to take you up on that offer, and will make sure to visit one day, to properly acquaint myself with you~
