[The video starts up with the image of Kay, very intently staring at something just off screen, and poking at it with a screwdriver. Every once in a while, she'll make a wrong move and the video will flicker, but eventually she seems to be satisfied, and starts to lean back in her chair. About halfway through the motion, the recording light catches her eye, and she freezes. She stares dumbly for a few moments, before breaking into a grin and clapping happily.]
It works! I took it apart and put it together and it worked again afterwords! [She continues to grin at the screen for a few more seconds.]
...If it's recording, aren't other people able to see this? Hi, everyone! Please let me know if you can see this, I wanna make sure I have everything working right! I mean, I don't want to just be talking to myself! That would just be silly.
Well, if I am actually recording and sending it out, I might as well introduce myself. I'm Kay Dunn, some of you might recognize me if you come by the Pewter museum - I work there, though I guess it does tend to be more behind the scenes stuff. So I guess you might not recognize me unless you've come to have us revive any fossils. Speaking of, I know that festival is going on in Viridian, so it's not too far to stop by the museum!
Anyways, I got this PNG thing in the mail the other day, and I just couldn't resist myself, I had to see how it worked. It takes a lot longer to put something back together than it does to take it apart, did you know that? I was having such a hard time, someone at work even bet me I couldn't do it right! But, nope! i got it right, it works, and he owes me lunch now.
Oh man, he owes me lunch! This means I don't have to pay for it tomorrow! This is exciting. Maybe the guys at work will stop thinking I'm an airhead now, I fixed something all by myself, without a manual or ever having seen it before or anything! Man, I'm good.
[She looks back to the screen, as if she forgot it was there. Again.]
Oh, whoops, I guess i got kinda caught up. Umm... I guess that's it. Bye!
[Kay waves happily at the screen, and then reaches forward to try and turn it off, which takes her another few moments before the video successfully shuts off.]
