Simplicity is the key...
You know, there really is a simpler way to deal with these people. Sure, you can refuse to sink to their level and take them through the courts, using all legal means at your disposal to get a judgment against them that they will most likely ignore anyway. Or you can simply ignore them and hope they go away. They wont.
I say take a different way. For the record, in the unlikely event that these retarded hatemongers ever protest at my funeral this is the way I want it handled. Bring in a bunch of bikers and start some shit. Preferably old school bikers, Vietnam vets and the like. Hells Angels if possible. Bring an epic trainload of pain to these people each and every time they protest and soon they will stop. Sure, the legalities of this are questionable at best but I am willing to bet that the police would have a very hard time finding any witnesses and there would be a lot of money donated to the legal defense funds of these bikers. I know I would donate if such a thing existed.
Sometimes all people understand is violence. Its the only way to get them to stop being ignorant and militantly happy about it. It isnt right, it isnt good but I say that there are times its necessary. And the case of the Westboro Baptist Church is one of these cases. The government isnt willing to protect and help the people it sent to die (big surprise there) so I say we should.
