Siting up she realizes this is not her room, this is not her home, the grass is green outside her window, and there is someone in bed with her. A man, with piercings in his ears and on his face.

[Waking past the door, Luke hears some kind of commotion inside Giriko's room. One of the voices doesn't sound very familiar either, but he knows better than to barge in, so he politely knocks instead.]

[Well, his new mother is storming out, still in her pajamas. Until she nearly runs into him.

She looks down.]

Is fake child?

I-I'm not fake! I'm Luke!

...Uhm, who are you?

Luke is not my child, да? Not really.

Is Roshia.

Roshia? It's nice to meet you, but uh, what were you doing in Mr. Giriko's room?

Yep! He's the dad that's been assigned to our house.

Did you just get here?

Did Mr. Giriko explain anything?

[Luke peeks around Roshia] Does that mean that drone lady is gone too?

That's not too surprising.

[Luke sighs.]

This is Mayfield, it's a weird town that no one can leave. A lot of us were kidnapped and brought here, and everyone who wasn't kidnapped is a drone, or one of those creepy, brainwashed people.

Why can no one leave?

The town loops over and over. We tried to escape once and ended up back where we started.

I'm sure there's a way out, it's just...no one has found it yet.
