(no subject)
i'm actually home for once. and guess how many emails i have? no, seriously. guess. one hundred and three. x_x my goodness. in exactly one week away from myspace, i had 3 messages, 2 comments, 6 friend requests, one birthday, and 2 blog subscription posts. holy crap, people.
anyway, new york was amazing. too bad i was pms-ing the entire week. thank goodness for my suzi. but yeah. broadway was incredible!! aaaaah!! <3!!
come home saturday, sleep 7 hours, wake up and go to camp. camp was.... interesting and surprisingly unemotional. i think it was because i was dead tired from new york.... yeeeaaah. i hoped there would be no drama, but hey. wishes don't always come true. oh, well. c'est la vie.
i was so happy to see jacob on friday, i could have cried. as soon as i got home, he came over for three hours. <3. then yesterday he came over and watched "light in the piazza" with me, and today we helped clean our church's daycare and saw a movie.
of course, that's what we planned. and what happened, too, but there are those little detours that make everything better. when the movie doesn't start for an hour and you wander over to the park. when you sit and say what needs to be said. when you stop by ben and jerry's just because there's nothing better to do. when you nearly fall asleep on the couch. that's what makes the day.
tomorrow is orientation. 8:00 am to midnight days until friday. >< woooooo.
oh, well. i'm happy nonetheless.
