i get old, black ballet slippers. they make me feel happy.

6:30 pm
i get home to find an envelope from UT office of admissions.

6:35 pm
i squeal about how i got into UT school of architecture.

7:00 pm
i turn the tv to channel 3 to watch the most intense game ever.

7:30 pm
texas wins the coin toss and so begins the rose bowl.

11:15 pm
texas finally wins it and i take pictures with my phone.

11:30 pm
i try to sleep, but caffeine and adrenaline don't let me.

today

6:00 am
my alarm goes off, and i hit the snooze button. and again.

8:30 am
the school is a flood of burnt orange.

i'm so very tired.... let's go to sleep now....
