with that out of the way, i'd just like to say i had the best weekend ever! and it's only saturday. i could just die happy. so, here goes. i'll try to be brief. ....-ish.
yesterday, beth came to school to give a presentation on a&m's engineering program, so i got to eat lunch with her. yay! plus, pep rally where the drumline performed (heart times a bajillion) and i got to make a fool out of myself by marching around carrying a sign for chrissy-kins. after school, wynn called and said he couldn't go to the lock-in, since he hadn't been getting enough sleep and they had a band competition the next day. i was like "meh. i need to find someone to hang out with then." so i called kelsey. by some miracle, her mom said yes!
so we go to pick up kb, and on the way to church, kelsey's phone rings. it's my chevy!! she says she called to say she could go, as long as my mom could give her a ride home. i ask her where she lives, and she says up near braker!! she's living over by gateway now, which excites me to no end. so we all get to the church and pack books until trent gets there, and then we head over to katz's.
so at katz's i eat potato skins and crepes and drink kb's chocolate milkshake. yummy. richard and i talk about politics and stuff, and i'm thinking "this is gonna be a pretty good night." well, the waitress is talking to richard while she's giving him the check, and all i hear is "actor...green goblin...over there...spider-man's best friend." i flipped out. i was like, "JAMES FRANCO IS AT KATZ'S!!" so i whip out my camera and we go to see if it's james franco or willem defoe, but neither of them is in the other room, so either it wasn't them or they had already left. bah. i would have paid big bucks for that picture.
so we leave katz's and go to austin park and pizza. i borrow kb's cell phone to call donny, since i told him we'd call him when we got there. so he answers the phone, i tell him it's me, and he says, "here. talk to your boyfriend." my face lights up. wynn says he regrets not going to the lock-in, so they're coming by as soon as donny helps solve this chick's problems. after that, i was giddier than i've ever been in my life. kelsey killed me at air hockey, 'cause i was too distracted to play. finally, they call, and i let them in.
so the rest of the night, i'm hanging with wynn and donny and kelsey and joe (joe was there!) and kaylyn. we do go-karts and laser tag and pool and initial d (yes. me, too.) and "in the groove" which is knock-off ddr. so around 6, we leave for denny's. after denny's, we go back to church and chill in the youth room. i fall asleep on wynn's lap, completely content, until he has to go, and then kb and i walk back in the church. soon thereafter, mom comes to get the three girls, and we basically sleep the rest of the way home. so i get to sleep around 8:30 and wake up about noon, since i have to take a shower and leave by 12:30.
then we killed tech. (i heart you, trent.)
