A Brief List of Things I Have Accomplished (or at least took a good, hard swing at) Today
1. Came up with an idea for my bulletin board! Hooray. Now I have to, uh, email the guy I'm doing it for and arrange to put it up. Then research the topic, design, and make it. No biggie.
2. Memorized my part for tomorrow's speaking text. Our dialog is very odd.
3. Ascertained that while my bicycle has not been repossessed, it needs a new front gear shift. Arranged payment for said gear shift. Experienced longing for days of better weather that do not destroy my knees utterly with cold, attack me with wind, and terrify me with icy paths.
4. Tried to open a bank account, learned that I'm still being stonewalled for some reason. Put nearly $500 check in an envelope to mail it to Dad, who can deposit it for me and then I can use money. A bit. I plan on continue my quest to gain some measure of frugality.
5. Watched another episode of White Collar.
6. Strongly encouraged David to play a Bowie song on the radio show he works with, resulting in a bit more Bowie in this world.
7. Possibly arranged housing for spring break. HOORAY.
ETA NEXT MORNING: 8. I totally meant to do this one, but then I forgot and it took a night's sleep to recall. Decided I want to learn Catalan. Yeah, I'm confusing. But it looks/sounds so cool!
