There was some controversy over this episode when it aired--though I think it mostly cleared up as soon as Booth was obviously not permanently amnesia-tized, like that was going to happen--but I love it. LOVE IT. It's risky, ending a season with a seemingly unrelated AU episode--but a) we now know that "unrelated" isn't quite the word (also: I look forward to the day that the literal nature of the title is revealed, as in the literal ending of the show being a reflection of that bedroom scene), and b) the alternate universe is so funny, so detailed, and so meta that I never get tired of hanging out inside it. The gang's all here, in hilarious alter-ego fashion! It's the ultimate lab-family episode! What could possibly go wrong?
Also, Ms. Deschanel, that is a killer yellow pencil skirt you've got there.
Day 13 - Favorite childhood show
Sesame Street
Is there even another option? It had that cool video about the making of crayons! And "Everybody Sleeps"! And Polly Darton and (later) H. Ross Parrot! I say, there's nothing like puppets and humans teaching life skills and positive values to small children, hilariously.
And if we're talking about my young inner fan, all I can say is that I was awfully excited the day Maria and Luis finally got married and ended their "will they or won't they" charade.
