Don't stop believin'; hold on to that feeling

So, tell me: Is this, or is this not, the happiest and most carefree week of TV ever? Glee tonight--which is not new in the sense of just having started, but feels that way to me, having just caught up on "Showmance"--and Bones tomorrow! Wheeeee! (Also The Office, which I am sorry to say is getting shuttled off to Hululand this year, due to massive ( Read more... )

I saw that promo, and it made me grin like a lunatic. Yay for Bones!

It's going to be so much fun. How can it not be? It's Bones. They're dorky and fun. It's what they do.

Dancing! Although the song is kind of annoying, but dancing!

I'm excited to have my shows start coming back. I need something to keep me occupied during the week, because I still miss my 9 to 5 kids (like whoa).

Also, wouldn't it be awesome if we could get Allison Janney as a guest on Glee? As Jane Lynch's high school nemesis who was a Gleek or something?

And this is why we are friends: I had this exact thought yesterday! It's PERFECT, and as we all know, the music was in her, so. This needs to happen. Also, Janney/Lynch. HA. They could have a hilarious bitch-off, and it would be awesome.

That promo sums up everything that is dorktastic, and therefore awesome, about "Bones."

Pretty much. I love that nothing happens, and we're all, "You guys! Best thing ever!" We're so easy.

Re: Will's wife on Glee...I'm not sure what to make of her because she's just so horrible. As you said, it doesn't speak well of Will, so they've got to do something more to make there be a reason for him to still be married to her.

I'm hoping they'll give her more than two dimensions soon. I do think that lying about the baby was a potential foothold--if nothing else, her actions speak to how much she wants a baby, and what she's willing to go through to have one (and it seems like she's aware that it was a terrible decision, and may regret it already).

I have no Glee icons. Yet.

we get Bones TONIGHT.

JEALOUS. But I guess it's okay, since you've had a big scary first day today. We'll let it slide. UNTIL NEXT WEEK.

But also you are so totally right about the Will/Emma/chalk/chemistry

This just shocked me--I like Matthew Morrison and especially Jayma Mays, but neither of them comes off as particularly sexual to me. It wasn't until that moment that I was all, "Guys? Are they going to tear each other's clothes off right here and now? Because I did not see THAT coming."

(Actually, I was thinking about it more today, and my prediction is that those two make out, at the very least, early in the series--leaving Will with crippling guilt over his wife, and especially over how much he enjoyed it, and so on and so forth. So say we all.)

Okay but which one of us is the one who gets to run into Hillary Clinton in the cafeteria? OH YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT.

Okay, fair enough. But does Hillary say things like "Dancing phalanges!"? Not as far as I know. So there you go.

This week's ep was good but I missed having a big closing musical number.

I thought it was not their best work--I enjoyed it, but I didn't think it was as strong as the previous episodes. OTOH, it did avoid/begin to fix some of the large-scale issues I have with the show--so that's good. And next week looks good. So, yay, Glee?
