We were discriminated not once but twice on Saturday in downtown. I am quite certain that "Red Door" is racist. You should take a good luck. Everyone that gets to go in are white. The bouncer gave us a bullshit reason saying that he could not confirm that the picture on the driver's license isn't really the person standing before him. If I punch his eye balls out, then I can understand. But, this was uncalled for. Even the police officers say they couldn't do anything or confirm anything. "Mantra" was the same. This time by a hispanic promoter. He says he was only letting re-entries only. After a crappy night, we just chilled at Flying Saucer. Ruchi's was the next stop, but for some reason, they were taking long as time. 30min might I add. We cancelled the order because our waiter was saying there was 1 more ticket ahead of us. It was 3:30am and we were tired of waiting for crap. Viet decided to grill up some pork chops and fry up some egg rolls. The irony is that we had a better time staying in than going out. I think I'd rather avoid downtown for now.
Updates on the car. I'm waiting for the car to arrive at Sterling McCall Toyota. I'm hoping it'll be in by beginning November. Do any of you have any good referrals on which insurance is good? I looked at Geico and had the best quote. But do you have to go with a particular agent?
