Most the day were spent running errands. But, we were informed about a Greek festival near Montrose. The Gyros and baklava were delicious. The tenderloin was so juicy I stuffed myself quick. Some friends and I gathered at a table to drink, "OPA!" when one of them finds an envelope of 6 Season pass tickets to the Astros and 2 parking passes. The game was half over, but nevertheless who can pass up free tickets. There were only 4 of us so for those that declined to come, see what u missed out. Anyhow, the seats were great and very close to the field. Minute Maid park is pretty nice, much nicer than the astrodome or what was known as 'Compaq Center'. The night was pretty fun and hoped that it would progressively get better. We hit up downtown to meet my friend's coworker for some salsa, but cover charge was $5. I'd decided otherwise to enter. It's not worth paying money for that. The bouncer commented, "Welcome to Houston". uh duh. I'm quite aware of the cover charge. I just don't think your club was worth my money to get into ur dingy club. Anyhow, we hopped across the street to Glo which was quite dead and then eventually headed over to a place that used to be called the 'Hub' which was more lively.
