Day 22 - Harry Potter or Twilight?
Er, DUH, do you see me doing any 30 day Twilight memes?
Now don't get me wrong- I read the books when they first came out and no one really knew about them and there was no films or hype.
But the films... man, they really riled me up, and the sudden craze over it all! I know Harry Potter has a huge hype about it, but I feel it is more deserved somehow, after so many years and books, all growing up on them.
The Twilight series was ok to read, and I'd be a liar if I said I only read the first one then stopped out of disgust. I was intrigued, and finished the series. But I'd never get the urge to read them again, and it doesn't make me crazy-excited when I hear there's a new film coming out, like it does for Harry Potter. I haven't even seen Eclipse.
So yes, although I admit to reading the series when it came out, and watching the first 2 films, the enjoyment levels were nowhere near the levels of anything to do with Harry Potter :)
