grrr...
I get up at 7 thinking that I need that much time to get ready this morning, and now it's 7:30 and I'm ready, complete with lunch, clothes, my icky bathing suit and a need for caffeine. Hot chocolate might be in order before we get on the road today.
Today I finally have a day off, so I'm tagging along with Lord of Life and Prince of Peace's youth groups to go horseback riding and lazy river tubing today. I'll get some (meaning way too much) sun and at least I'll have some color by the time I get back to school. Jess (Dehart) Van Dyke is coming too, so I finally get to see her since she became Mrs. Van Dyke! Yay!
My cat is way too high maintinence.... and it's a male. I had to take him to the vet yesterday, so he wasn't the least bit happy with me for lots of reasons: I didn't give him his wet food until after the vet, he had to go in the car, he had to have his temperature taken in a not-so-fun place, he got two shots, and he had to go in the car again. So, when he got home and got his wet food, he inhaled it and started running around because he was home.... well that makes a little kitty sick.. and clingy, which is why I was late for work yesterday. Grr...
And summer is almost over and I really didn't get a chance to see it. I've been stuck in Home Depot most of the time, and mine was cut pretty short because it didn't start until June. Oh well, I'll have next summer and hopefully I'll have a good schedule and maybe spend some time with friends, not like this summer where I barely saw them. Okay, time to go. Gotta get gas before I drive to GR and back, and maybe find that hot chocolate... Mmmm!!!
