We went to Santa Barbara last weekend for my brother's graduation from college (he got a a degree in philosophy and psychology)
He didn't want to walk with the people in his major, so we went to the computer science ceremony. The speaker was one of the guys from the show Mythbuster's which was pretty entertaining.
It is always great to see the family, and past year I have seen them more than in the past 5! With the wedding, and then Thanksgiving and now graduation.
It was weird as well for me, because my brother is my half brother, and so his mom and grandparents were there. They all commented that I looked the same as always, and that they missed me over the years, which was really nice. But you know how you remember people in your mind, it is always an exaggerated reality.
