aw man this is hard...
theres this gallery in belfast who contacted me about my degree show...
the lady came up to me during the exhibition and gave me her card... then i got an email...
well basically theyre having a student exhibition in october and want me to submit a proposal
which is all good and well...
problem being i left glasgow with a poor degree and a bad taste in my mouth
so outside of THINKING about getting some stickers printed and sticking them around town... i've done nothing... no art has left my finger tips in 2 and a half months
so now i've got until monday to write a proposal for an exhibition... without actually knowing what the space is like... without knowing how much space i'd get... without knowing what work is going around me...
having said this i really want to use my fax machine again but not for anything as laborious...

actual lightbulb above my head... i've had a brilliant idea...!!
i was going to write about how i wanted to revisit my old 'missing poster' project as well... making up poster which actually all look different and stuff... because having no money that would be quiet cheap to print out etc...
and then...!
i could fax missing posters into the exhibition asking the gallery staff to pin the posters to the wall as and when they're received!
aaah i'm a bit excited now and just wanna mock it up and see how its goes... if only i had space to actually pin posters... i'll figure something out...
so i've got today to figure that out a bit and then tomorrow to write a slightly vague explaination incase i change my mind...
maybe i'll make some money from being an artist instead of being a damned post-grad... hah

i can even do 'audience participation'!
who wants to mock me up a missing poster or two and post it to me (email as a largish jpeg or snailmail as an actual sheet of paper?)
i can have the number on flyers/posters for people to send their 'missings' to!
maybe i could make a poster for all of my 'friends' on facebook... the vaguer the 'friend' the vaguer the poster... heh
ps. i hate audience participation... but... maybe it'd bulk it up a bit...
