Hollywood Improv

Before the Show:

So, here I am at the Hollywood Improv on Melrose Place, in Los Angeles. Steven recommended that I visit here for the show featuring Dana Gould. The show will not begin for another hour. I've arrived early though for the food, of all things. Plus that way I could come right from the office a full two minutes away.

The chicken with tequila sauce arrived very quickly as there is almost nobody eating here before the show. In fact, it is just me and a table of 7. The dinner is quiite delicious.

I have elected a seat up front for the show. There is really no excuse for keeping myself removed. I am, after-all here for the entertainment. If any of the performers choose to pick on me, it will be all good fun anyhow. Besides, it is not like anyone will bear witness. Lolz.

Tomorrow morning, I will be driving down to San Diego. I actually know people there. Robert has offered to show me around the area. I sort of prefer this to going solo in L.A. I did get an offer from one of co-workers to hang out tomorrow, but already made th San Diego plans. It is still an option for Sunday though.

I am wondering if I should give Rick a hollar too. He lives in San Diego also. I will figure that out after the show and my Rasberry Kiss. It is made with Stoli Rasberry, Triple Sec, sweet and sour, and Sierra Mist, of all things. Wow, I must look stupid typing on this thing, alone, waiting for the show to start. I am a loser.

After the Show

Okay. It may be true that I am a loser, but really now. I went to a kick-ass funny show and laughed my ass off for an hour and a half straight. Sounds like I was a winner to me. Steven is awesome for suggesting it. I really wish I could recorded it or something. All the performers were to notch and Dana Gould just blew the crowd away.
